General Information

If you need to cancel an appointment please give at least 48 hours notice by telephone otherwise a fee of 50% of the booked treatment cost may be charged if we are unable to fill the slot.

Cancellations by text/e-mail/app are not accepted. Failure to attend an appointment or rescheduling an appointment with less than 48 hours notice will be treated as a cancelled appointment and charged accordingly. If a client has a gift voucher or a credit balance and cancels with less than 48 hours notice, the fee of 50% of the booked treatment cost may be deducted from the value of the gift voucher or available credit if we are unable to fill the slot.

If you have to cancel or reschedule an appointment because you answered ‘Yes’  to any of the Questions A 1-9, B or C on our Covid Screening Questionnaire, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.

We aim to send reminders by text within 48 hours of an appointment to clients who have not opted out, but cannot guarantee that you will always receive them.

In fairness to other clients, appointments cannot be extended due to late arrivals. If you are late for an appointment,
we will adapt the booked treatment to fit the time available but the full cost of the booked treatment is payable.

There is ample free parking in the grounds of The River Club. A car valeting service is available (fee payable).

A course of treatments must be taken within 3 months (IPL excluded) of purchase, is non-transferable & non-refundable except at management discretion.

If we have to temporarily close the salon due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will extend the period in which courses can be taken.

In order to protect our clients and staff we ask that you complete this Covid-19 Screening Questionnaire in the 48 hours before your appointment.  You must answer all questions. We regret that if the Screening Questionnaire has not been completed we will not be able to proceed with your appointment.

We accept payment by most credit/debit cards for transactions of £15 or more

A 25% deposit may be requested when booking. A 50% deposit is required for all packages, group bookings and December appointments.

Deposits are only refundable if at least 48 hours notice of cancellation is given by telephone – please see Cancellation/No Show/Late Rescheduling above.

From time to time, we have special offers or discounts available; unless specifically stated, these offers/discounts cannot be combined & may not be used in conjunction with any other offers/discounts.

Gift vouchers are available to purchase:

  • from The River Club Reception (cash only)
  • from the Salon Reception (cash or card)
  • online from info@beautybemine.co.uk (card or bank transfer)

Vouchers are valid for 6 months, can be purchased either for a specific treatment or for an amount of money and can be redeemed against treatments or products.

If we have to temporarily close the salon due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will extend the validity of gift vouchers.

 

We welcome minors, but all under 18 year olds must be accompanied at all times in the treatment room by a parent or guardian.

To ensure that you get the most from your treatment and as a courtesy to other clients, please make sure your mobile phone is either turned off or on silent.

We take the safety of our clients and staff extremely seriously and have put in place precautions to protect against Covid-19 which are over and above the minimum required – these include, but are not limited to, using PPE, using single use items wherever possible, allowing extra time between appointments for additional room & equipment cleaning and to allow fresh air a chance to circulate. To help cover the additional costs incurred, we will be adding a Safety Surcharge of £4.50 to all appointments (not per treatment). Also, we are only able to offer appointments where the cost of the treatment(s) is £25 or more (before the Safety Surcharge).

Once the Covid-19 precautions are no longer required, we will stop the Safety Surcharge and will remove the £25 minimum appointment cost.

All clients over age 65 can get a 10% discount on single treatments taken before 5pm on Monday to Wednesday.

We reserve the right to modify/discontinue treatments, to amend prices and opening times without notice.
